Three types of cyclists you will meet in life.
Much like other gatherings, the motorcycle organization has a diverse mix of people, each with their own perspective on cycling. Regardless of the bike they ride, most can easily be grouped into unique inner circles. Here are the 8 types of bikers you'll encounter in everyday life.
The mechanic

This guy takes his bike very seriously. It's not enough for him to just be a good rider (though that's rare); he also needs to know the ins and outs of how his bike works. He can disassemble and put it back together himself, and he'll only take it to a licensed mechanic as a last resort. Mechanics typically ride vintage bikes like Royal Enfields, Jawa Yezdi bikes, or Triumphs, which require heavy maintenance.
The brand loyalist

This person loves bicycles, but only the particular brand they believe is the best. They firmly adhere to that brand regardless of the better options available from other manufacturers. No amount of discussion about the pros and cons of other bikes will influence their opinion. These guys are mostly seen on bikes from manufacturers that already have huge fan followings; Harley-Davidson and Royal Enfield are the first to come to mind.
The Speed Freak

The only thing that matters to them is how fast they can ride. Power, top speed, and acceleration are pretty much the only things they care about when it comes to cycling. Most of their conversations revolve around the speed they hit on the highway at the weekend or how they managed to turn knee-deep on that hill. These guys are mostly found on high-end Japanese or European sport bikes like Ducati, Yamaha, Suzuki, or Kawasaki.
